CODE of CONDUCT
The Crescent Club is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all its members and their guests, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all.
The Club believes that it is important that members, guests, partners, suppliers, and administrators associated with the club should, always, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others. Therefore, members are encouraged to be open at all times and to share any concerns or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the club with a member of the Club Committee.
The Club Committee will handle all reports of inappropriate behaviour in a confidential manner and will always respect the wishes of any reporting member.
As a member of The Crescent Club, you are expected to abide by the following code of conduct:

-
All members must take responsibility in ensuring they are up to date with the rules of the club and understand and adhere to them.
-
All members must respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of age, gender, ability, race, cultural background, religious beliefs, sexual identity, or any other characteristic.
-
Members should recognise the valuable contribution made by our club administrators who are usually volunteers. They give their time and resources for you.
-
All members must respect our partner businesses and treat our partners as you would any other member.
-
All members should act as a positive role model for new or prospective members and treat all others with the same level of respect you would expect to be shown to you.
-
All Members must not use language – either in person, or via electronic messaging - intended to offend, discriminate, belittle, or bully any other member or any other person associated with the club. Bullying of any sort will not be tolerated.
-
All members must not physically or verbally abuse any person at any time. The Club reserves the right to report any such behaviour to the police.
-
All Members should - as far as possible – fulfil any commitments they have made to attend, organise, assist with, or manage, any club events. Where a commitment cannot be met, the member endeavour to inform others involved as soon as possible.
-
All members must pay any fees for club subscriptions or events promptly.
-
Encourage everyone to enjoy the Crescent Club and understand that people have different motivations for taking part.

The Crescent Club Committee will investigate all reports of any accused breach of the above code of conduct. The Committee reserves the right to take any action against an individual member it deems fit, including but not limited to: verbal warnings, written warnings, temporary suspension, up to full revocation of membership and dismissal from the Crescent Club.
